However you are strongly encouraged to buy it with the DNTV Live! software, which features Multicard Support, Picture in Picture, Timeshifting, FM Radio support, wake up PC from hibernate/standby, silent recording, direct access to Channel Numbers!, Plays DVD, MP3 and many other multimedia file formats. If you use an antenna that creates a short circuit on the RF in, the tuner will be disabled and you will not be able to scan anything.
